At Day Rentals, we offer flexible options for customer delivery services to ensure a smooth, safe, and efficient rental experience.

Delivery Service

We offer delivery and setup for your convenience.

Standard Delivery (Small Orders)

Suitable for:

  • Tables
  • Chairs
  • Small equipment

Rates:

  • $50 – 1/2 ton delivery (in-town)

Large Load / Trailer Delivery

  • $250 – Standard trailer delivery (in-town)

Applies to larger orders such as tents, staging, and bulk rentals.

Additional charges may apply for:

  • Large or multi-load orders
  • Difficult or limited site access
  • Extended setup time or special equipment requirements

All delivery pricing will be confirmed prior to booking.

Out-of-Town Delivery & Pickup

For locations outside our standard service area:

  • $3.50/km (round trip) for locations up to 50–60 km
  • $5.00/km (round trip) for locations beyond 50–60 km

Distance charges cover both delivery and pickup.

Additional charges may apply for:

  • Extended distances
  • Large or multi-load orders
  • Difficult or limited site access

Minimum out-of-town delivery charge may apply.

Site Requirements (Delivery & Setup)

The renter is responsible for ensuring the site is:

  • Accessible by vehicle and/or trailer
  • Clear of obstacles (vehicles, debris, etc.)
  • Large enough to safely accommodate equipment
  • Level and suitable for setup

For tent installations:

  • Grass surface required unless otherwise approved
  • No overhead obstructions such as trees, power lines, or structures

Delivery Timing

  • Delivery and pickup times are scheduled based on logistics and routing
  • Specific time requests are not guaranteed unless agreed upon in writing

Failed Delivery or Pickup

Additional charges may apply if:

  • Site is not accessible upon arrival
  • Customer is not present when required
  • Equipment cannot be safely delivered or installed
  • A return trip is required

Responsibility & Liability

  • The renter is responsible for all equipment from the time of pickup or delivery until return
  • This includes damage, loss, or theft

Improper transport during customer pickup may result in full damage charges.

Recommendation

For large, heavy, or high-value rentals such as tents and staging, we strongly recommend using our delivery service to ensure proper handling, safe installation, and compliance with safety standards.
