Terms & Agreements

Welcome to DayRentals.ca. By renting equipment or booking services through www.dayrentals.ca, you agree to the following Terms & Agreements.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By placing a booking or rental order, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Agreements. If you do not agree, you may not proceed.

2. Eligibility

  • Renters must be 18 years of age or older
  • A valid government-issued ID may be required
  • The person booking is responsible for the rental agreement

3. Booking Deposit (Non-Refundable)

  • A 25% booking deposit is required to secure all rentals
  • This deposit is NON-REFUNDABLE under all circumstances, including:
    • Cancellations
    • Changes of plans
    • Date changes
    • Weather-related issues
  • The booking deposit reserves your equipment and event date and prevents double-booking

4. Payments & Balances

  • Remaining balance plus refundable damage deposit is due 3 days prior to the rental or event date
  • Failure to complete payment may result in:
    • Cancellation of your booking
    • Loss of your booking deposit
  • Prices are subject to change without notice, but confirmed bookings are locked in

5. Damage Deposit

  • A refundable damage deposit is required for most rentals
  • This deposit is not charged at time of booking
  • It will be:
    • Collected prior to the rental period
    • Returned after equipment inspection

Deductions may be made for:

  • Damaged equipment
  • Missing items
  • Excessive cleaning
  • Late returns

6. Rental Responsibility

The renter is fully responsible for all equipment during the rental period.

All equipment must be returned:

  • In the same condition as received
  • Clean and ready for the next customer

The renter is responsible for:

  • Loss, theft, or damage
  • Misuse of equipment
  • Any costs required to repair or replace items

7. Rental Period & Late Returns

  • Rental periods are agreed upon at the time of booking
  • Late returns may result in additional charges
  • Extended use without approval may result in extra fees

8. Delivery & Pickup

  • Delivery and pickup services are available for an additional fee
  • The renter must ensure:
    • Clear access to the site
    • Safe conditions for delivery and pickup

If delivery or pickup cannot be completed due to site issues, additional charges may apply.

9. Site Requirements

The renter is responsible for:

  • Ensuring adequate space for equipment
  • Ensuring safe placement conditions
  • Verifying all measurements and fit prior to booking

We reserve the right to refuse setup or delivery if conditions are unsafe.

10. Cancellations & Changes

  • The 25% booking deposit is non-refundable
  • Changes to bookings are subject to availability and not guaranteed
  • Last-minute cancellations may result in additional charges

11. No Guarantee of Conditions

DayRentals.ca does not guarantee:

  • Weather conditions
  • Site conditions
  • Event outcomes

No refunds will be issued due to factors outside of our control.

12. Liability & Indemnification

  • The renter assumes full responsibility for use of all rented equipment
  • DayRentals.ca is not liable for:
    • Injuries
    • Damages
    • Losses resulting from use of equipment

The renter agrees to indemnify and hold harmless DayRentals.ca from any claims, damages, or expenses.

13. Privacy

  • Customer information is used solely for booking and communication
  • We do not sell or share personal data

14. Changes to Terms

DayRentals.ca reserves the right to update these Terms & Agreements at any time without notice. Continued use of services constitutes acceptance of any updates.
